1. Agreement to Terms

By scheduling a service, booking online, communicating with us by phone or text, or using the Lakeway Mobile Oil Change website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Service Description

Lakeway Mobile Oil Change provides on-site automotive maintenance including but not limited to oil changes, fluid top offs, tire pressure checks, engine inspections, diagnostics, and related services (“Services”).
All services are performed at the customer’s chosen location, provided it is safe, legal, and accessible.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle information when booking.

  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a safe, level, and legal surface accessible for service.

  • Secure permission for service if performed on property not owned by the customer.

  • Disclose any known mechanical issues that may affect service safety or completion.

  • Remove personal items that may restrict access to the vehicle.

Lakeway Mobile Oil Change is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect customer information.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All pricing is listed on our website or provided directly to customers prior to service.

  • Prices may vary depending on vehicle type, oil requirements, location, or additional services.

  • Payment is due at the time services are completed unless otherwise stated.

  • Accepted forms of payment include card, cash, or digital payment methods.

  • Any unpaid balances may be sent to collections after reasonable attempts to contact the customer.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours before the appointment without penalty.

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours may be subject to a late-cancellation fee.

  • If the technician arrives and the customer or vehicle is unavailable, a trip charge may apply.

6. Service Completion & Limitations

While we strive for complete accuracy, Lakeway Mobile Oil Change is not responsible for:

  • Preexisting mechanical issues, worn components, or failures unrelated to the services performed.

  • Engine damage resulting from conditions prior to service (low oil, severe leaks, overheating, etc.).

  • Manufacturer defects or previously installed faulty parts.

  • Weather-related delays or conditions preventing safe service.

If a vehicle is found unsafe for service, we reserve the right to decline or postpone the job.

7. Parts & Warranty

  • All parts and fluids used meet or exceed manufacturer specifications.

  • Any warranty on parts or products is limited to the manufacturer’s written warranty.

  • Lakeway Mobile Oil Change does not provide warranty coverage for issues unrelated to the work performed.

  • Warranty claims must be reported within 7 days of service completion unless otherwise specified.

8. Liability

Lakeway Mobile Oil Change is insured and takes all reasonable steps to protect customer property.
However, we are not liable for:

  • Damage caused by previously failing components.

  • Issues arising from lack of vehicle maintenance.

  • Vehicle modifications not disclosed by the customer.

  • Items left inside the vehicle.

Liability for any proven service-related damages is limited to the cost of the service performed.

9. Mobile Service Considerations

By booking a mobile appointment, customers acknowledge:

  • Services are performed outdoors or in open areas.

  • Technicians may need to move the vehicle slightly for safety.

  • The appointment may be rescheduled due to weather or unsafe conditions.

10. Communications & Consent

By contacting Lakeway Mobile Oil Change, you consent to receive appointment reminders, service updates, and general communication via phone, text message, or email. Standard message rates may apply.

11. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued only when:

  • A service was not performed.

  • An incorrect service was delivered due to our error.

  • A duplicate charge occurred.

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Preexisting mechanical issues.

  • Service dissatisfaction caused by conditions outside our control.

  • Customer misuse or failure to maintain the vehicle after service.

12. Privacy

We collect customer information for service delivery only. We do not sell, trade, or share personal information with third parties except as required to process payments or comply with the law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website or when communicated to customers.
